A step by step guide
Step ONE
With so many choices in the marketplace, it is understandable that we often hear from our clients, " I don't know where to start ".
Whether you know exactly what you want, or just have a germinating vision, it is always best to engage the help of a professional designer.
Step TWO
Our initial meeting is always a complimentary one hour, full of questions and answers. We want to hear about your vision, and begin to understand how we may be of help as part of your team. The scope of your project, the time line, and your budget are all factors that will help direct our suggestions about a plan of action.
Step THREE
Typically, we are happy to tackle any kind of living space, not just kitchens or baths. Our next step is usually to meet at our showroom and explore the world of cabinets and other finish materials with you, such as countertops and hardware.
Step FOUR
Subject to a design retainer based on the scope of your project, we will then expect to visit your home and take detailed measurements. These will provide the basis of design development, from a wish list to a reality. The plans, created on CAD software, give us the ability to show you in 3D what your new space will look like, with the materials you have chosen.
Step FIVE
As shown below, the steps from design concepts to delivery of your new cabinets will depend largely on the type of project. But as we help you take those steps, together with your contractor / installer, there will be a lot of questions we will be asking. We will be developing not only the plans, but also your team, giving you the fulfilment of your dreams!
